TEX CONTACT was founded in 1994 by Pozzetti Giorgio, the actual owner of the company, as a branch of the company C.A.T. Centro Assistenza Tecnica founded by his father Pozzetti Virginio in the ’70s and dedicated to the technical support and fixing of Titan knotting machines.

Giorgio joined the company of the father in 1987 as a technician, but even if following the Italian market support, he was able to transform the company in a new commercial reality. He started with buying and selling used knotting machines, then enlarging the business to all kind of textiles machines, specially focusing on weaving and warping machines (as Somet, Vamatex, Dornier, Picanol, Smit, Sulzer) and new or used spare parts.

In 1994 with the head quarter of the company located in Cermenate (CO), Giorgio began to work with important companies and manufactories located in the Como district, then expanding all along Italy and also Europe.

Working honestly and confidentially he was able to grow up the company satisfying also the increasing requires coming from emerging markets as Turkey, India, Egypt, Morocco.

In 2011 an important step signs the history of TEX CONTACT: the transfer to the actual location in Rovello Porro (CO) – Via Petrarca 9/A, right nearby Turate motorway exit.

The new and modern warehouse , where the textile machines are stored, is covering an indoor surface of 900 sqm and an outdoor area of more than 600 sqm.

All the used machines are stored appropriately and checked before selling in order to satisfy all the Italian and foreign customers that along these years become faithful partners.

In the internal laboratory it is still processed the assistance for the knotting machines for Italian customers.
